Terms and Conditions for the Client

Subject of these terms

These Terms and Conditions for the Client govern the relationship between DL Rent and the individuals and legal entities renting vehicles, upon conclusion and performance of a rental agreement.

Obligations of the client

• Present a valid driving licence and an identity document upon collecting the vehicle
• Drive the vehicle personally or through an additional driver listed on the agreement
• Return the vehicle at the agreed time and place, in the condition it was received
• Notify DL Rent immediately in the event of an accident, breakdown or theft

Fuel and mileage

The vehicle is handed over and returned with the same fuel level. A difference in level is charged according to the company's price list. Unlimited-mileage rentals are explicitly stated in the agreement — otherwise the standard limit of 300 km per day applies.

Liability for damages

In the event of an insured incident, the client owes the agreed excess, unless additional coverage was purchased. DL Rent reserves the right to withhold this amount from the deposit paid.
